For a recent project to upgrade TZhiphop.com‘s website, my friend referred me to Themeshaper’s tutorial on building a WordPress template from scratch. While I am having a few issues with configuring widget areas inside a sidebar, the tutorial is great overall and provides links to its sources in case you want to chase up solutions on finer details. This is a perfect tutorial if you are already familiar with PHP (otherwise it’s better starting with W3schools).

TEDxLSE coming on 17th March 2012
After a great reference (thanks Katelyn!) dropped in a good word, we worked with the organizers of TEDx at the London School of Economics. The team conceived a minimalist yet professional approach to organizing their information, and provided the visual and textual content. Ndogoworks set up a domain and hosting, and an original CSS template for the project.

M-Lab Records: Celebrating 3 years
M-Lab Records has worked hard over the last 3 years to deliver a true and dedicated Hip Hop and RnB scene in Tanzania. With the help of TZhiphop partners, Ndogoworks worked with M-Lab to produce a new attitude with their virtual representation. WordPress was used to develop a website theme based on the idea of “bars“. The website also features an audio player based on HTML 5, allowing it to be played on mobile phone browsers.
